1. Parent SOS terms and conditions
We understand you’re super busy, thank you in advance for taking the time to read these terms carefully before submitting your order to us.
1.1 What these terms cover. These are the terms and conditions on which we supply products to you, whether these are goods, services or digital content.
1.2 These terms are about who we are, how we will provide products to you, how you and we may change or end the contract, what to do if there is a problem (hopefully they won’t be) and other important information. If you think that there is a mistake in these terms, please contact us to discuss.
2. Our contract with you
2.1 How we will accept your order. Our acceptance of your order will take place when you place an order via our website, at which point a contract will come into existence between you and us.
2.2 If we cannot accept your order. If we are unable to accept your order, we will inform you of this in writing by email. This might be because the product is out of stock, because of unexpected limits on our resources, which we could not reasonably plan for, because we have identified an error in the price or description of the product or because we are unable to meet a delivery deadline you have specified.
2.3 Your order number. We will assign an order number to your order and tell you what it is when we accept your order. It will help us if you can tell us the order number whenever you contact us regarding your order.
2.4 We only sell to the UK. Our website is solely for the promotion of our products in the UK. Currently we do not accept orders from OR deliver to addresses outside the UK mainland.
3. Our products
3.1 Products may vary slightly from their pictures. The images of the products on our website are for illustrative purposes only (we wouldn’t want to spoil the surprise). We take the time to carefully select treats and survival goodies for you, and therefore what you see on the website is only to illustrate the types of contents you will receive through your subscription. Product packaging may vary. The packaging of the product may vary from that shown in images on our website.
4. Your rights to make changes
Once your order has been accepted you will only be able to change your order up to 48 hours before dispatch. You can contact us via email Contact@parentsos.co.uk or the contact us form on the website. In addition, you can pause your subscription at any time by logging into your account.
4.1 When placing an order you will be asked to create an account. It will be your responsibility to keep your login details secures to stop fraudulent activity on your account.
4.2 Upon creating your account please ensure that you enter your correct details as incorrect information may result in delayed delivery of your box.
4.3 You can update your information any time by accessing it via the ‘My Account’ section on the website.
5. Providing the products
5.1 Delivery costs. You will be delighted to know that delivery costs are included in the price you see.
5.2 When we will provide the products. We dispatch our SOS boxes monthly and in any event within 28 days of you placing your order.
You will be notified by email or text of your delivery date. If no one is available at your address to take delivery you have the option to request it to be left with a neighbour, a safe place or pick up from your local depot. Boxes sent back to depot will be held for 5 days. If it is not collected within the 5 days it will be returned to Parent SOS HQ and you will be liable for the couriers companies return fee.
7. Your rights to end the contract
7.1 Tell us you want to end the contract. To end the contract with us, please let us know by doing one of the following:
(a) Emailing us at email@example.com Please provide your name, home address, details of the order and, where available, your phone number and email address.
(b) Online. Complete the contact us form on our website.
7.2 How we will refund you. We will refund you the price you paid for the products including delivery costs, by the method you used for payment. However, we may make deductions from the price, as described below.
7.3 Deductions from refunds if you are exercising your right to change your mind. If you are exercising your right to change your mind:
(a) We may reduce your refund of the price (excluding delivery costs) to reflect any reduction in the value of the goods, if for example goods have been opened or part used. See our Returns Section (14) for information about what handling is acceptable and examples].
(b) The maximum refund for delivery costs will be the costs of delivery by the least expensive delivery method we offer. For example, if we offer delivery of a product within [3-5] days at one cost but you choose to have the product delivered within 24 hours at a higher cost, then we will only refund what you would have paid for the cheaper delivery option.
7.4 When your refund will be made. We will make any refunds due to you as soon as possible. If you are exercising your right to change your mind then:
(a) If the products are goods and we have not offered to collect them, your refund will be made within 14 days from the day on which we receive the product back from you or, if earlier, the day on which you provide us with evidence that you have sent the product back to us.
(b) In all other cases, your refund will be made within 14 days of your telling us you have changed your mind
8. If there is a problem with the product
8.1 How to tell us about problems. We always welcome feedback from our customers and whilst we endeavour to ensure you have a positive experience. We are happy to answer any questions or queries about our products. You can email our customer service team firstname.lastname@example.org or message us via the ‘contact us’ form on the website.
9. Price and payment
9.1 Where to find the price for the product. The price of the product (which includes VAT) will be the price indicated on the order pages when you placed your order.
9.2 When you must pay and how you must pay. We accept payment by Debit or Credit cards. Payment must be made, before we dispatch any products.
10. Our responsibility for loss or damage suffered by you
10.1 We are responsible to you for foreseeable loss and damage caused by us. If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer as a direct result or that is a foreseeable result of our breaking this contract or our failing to use reasonable care and skill and our maximum liability is limited to giving you a full refund. We are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable.
10.2 We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees, agents or subcontractors; for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; for breach of your legal rights in relation to the products; and for defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987
10.3 We are not liable for business losses. We only supply the products for domestic and private use. If you use the products for any commercial, business or re-sale purpose we will have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.
11. How we may use your personal information
12. Other important terms
12.1 Laws which apply to this contract and where you may bring legal proceedings. English law governs these terms and you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products in the English courts. If you live in Scotland you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products in either the Scottish or the English courts.

14. Returns Policy
You must return the Parent SOS box with all unopened products within 14 days of notifying us of the cancellation. The box and products must be in the same condition in which you receive them and at your own cost and risk. Parent SOS has a right to deduct from your refund amount any reduction in value of the products caused by your handling of the products beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the products.
